Throughout the UK...

Aimed specifically for the development of our teachers and support staff our seminars are interactive, practical and stimulating. We are committed to providing the most relevant and appropriate support for our supply staff.

We run the following courses:

Behaviour Management

Even the most experienced teachers meet challenging pupils and, as a supply teacher, professional boundaries and responsibilities can sometimes be unclear. This course aims to update delegates on the latest UK policies on pupil restraint and introduce the latest techniques for effective behaviour management. The course will provide an opportunity to reflect on your own experiences and to pick up some great tips for managing classes in the supply context.

CV Writing and Interviewing Skills

Come and enhance your skills and possibly walk away with an interview or job offer! We are hosting a CV Writing and Interviewing Skills workshop. The course will be presented by Headteachers, who are recruiting at the moment.

An Introduction to Interactive Whole Class Teaching

This seminar aims to explain how the IWBs work and to show how easy it is to get up and running if one is in your class. It will also give strategies on how often to use the board and how to share lessons with other teachers. The course content also covers learning new hardware (Visualiser & Slate) software (Easiteach & ActivStudio) and learning about internet based research.

Building Confidence

If you’re a nervous new teacher, or even an older teacher who feels the need to be more assertive in the classroom, then look no further than our course on Building Confidence. We can guarantee that you will become more confident, more effective, and get closer to achieving your full potential. Hosting our course will be Tessa Gallagher, who has taken time out from appearing in The Bill, Crossroads and The Archers to come in and run our morning of self-development here at Prospero Headquarters.
